Pinkoi has launched a new inventory management page, allowing you to quickly edit the stock and price of listings individually or in bulk, increasing efficiency!
Tip:
We recommend you use the desktop version of Pinkoi for a smoother experience when using the inventory management page. → Go to Shop Manager now
Begin editing
1. Go to “Shop Manager” > “Listings” > “Inventory Management”
2. Click on the “Edit list” button.
3. Edit an individual listing.
4. Select multiple listings to edit them in a batch.
Bulk editing listings
1. Select the listings and variations you want to edit, then select the “Bulk Actions” drop down menu. Select either “Modify Stock” or “Modify Price”.
*Note: A maximum of 20 listings can be displayed per page. If you have a large amount of listings, please scroll down to the bottom of the list and navigate through the different pages to select listings.
2. Select one of the following modification methods:
- Replace Value
- Add Value
- Subtract Value
3. Enter the value that you want to modify the stock or price by in the “Value” field.
4. Click on “Preview” to preview the changes you are about to make. Then click on “Apply” to apply them.
Searching and filtering for listings
1. Search: First, search for listings by using listing titles, variations or SKUs as keywords.
*If you wish to search using multiple keywords, please separate them using a space (for example: red blue SKU08998)
2. Filter: You can then use the filters below the search bar to filter for the variation, stock or status you require.
- Variation: Enter the variation you want to filter for and then press enter (you can enter a maximum of 2). Click on “Apply” to apply the filter.
- Stock: Enter the quantity range of stock that you wish to filter for and then click on “Apply”.
- Status: Select the checkboxes of your choice to filter for “Currently Selling” and “Sold Out” items, then click on “Apply”.
*For the variation filter, you can enter a maximum of two different variations. If you enter two variations, the system will filter for listings that match both criteria. For example, if you enter “8” (shoe size) and “red” (color), the system will filter for listings that match both of these criteria.
*If you fill in two different options for the same variation (for example, “8” (shoe size) and “10” (shoe size)), you will be unable to filter for listings.
*Please note that if you have already used the search and filter functions to select listings, and you clear your original keywords/variations to conduct a second search or filter, the listings that you originally selected will become deselected. We suggest that you complete editing and save your changes before conducting a second search and/or filter action.
FAQ
Q. Why can’t I edit variations that are labeled “Shared Stock” when conducting bulk actions?
A. If you did not configure separate stock for each individual variation when you first configured them, all variations of a listing will share a single quantity of stock. You will be unable to modify the quantities of these variations individually or perform bulk editing on them. → Go to Shop Manager to reconfigure your variations
Q. Why can I only filter for a maximum of 2 different variations?
A. Currently, you can set a maximum of 2 variations per listing. If you enter 3 variations into the filter, you will be unable to find the listings you need.
Q. Why do I get an error message when I try to modify certain listing information? Why am I unable to successfully save changes for certain listings?
A. When editing on the Inventory Management page, you may be editing the same batch of listings in another window, which can cause data to become out of sync. When you save your changes you will encounter the following error messages:
- Variation has been removed
- Listing has been removed
- Data error
If this situation occurs, we suggest you click on "OK". The system will automatically skip over these listings and only save the changes for other listings.
Q. If listings are sold or orders are canceled while I’m editing inventory, will these changes be reflected on the Inventory Management page?
A: If the above situation occurs during editing, resulting in a change to inventory, before you save your changes, the system will provide you with information about the original stock, current stock, and stock after editing. The system will ask if you want to overwrite the values that have changed during editing. At this time, you can click on “Save” to overwrite the values, or “Back”, to confirm the current amount of inventory before editing again.
