If the recipient is a foreign national living in Taiwan (including those with alien resident certificates), can they still complete real-name authentication?

Due to restrictions with the Taiwan Customs Administration’s EZ Way app, foreign nationals residing in Taiwan (including those with alien resident certificates) must complete a letter of authorization each time they order cross-border goods in order to allow their customs broker to complete customs clearance procedures for them.

Please refer to the process for using a letter of authorization. When shipping to foregin nationals residing in Taiwan, make sure to provide them with a link to this process and inform your logistics provider that your shipment will be using a letter of authorization for customs clearance.
