What are collections?

Collections make it easy to categorize the items on your Wish List. You can create collections with different themes and purposes. Make a collection for potential birthday gifts, your dream purchases, wedding ideas, anniversary presents, and more! Keep it to yourself or share it with others to trade inspiration with your friends and other Pinkoi users.

Note: For now, collections are only available for desktop and the latest version of the Pinkoi app.

How do I make a new collection?

Desktop:

On the “My Wish List” page, select “Create new collection” from the left-hand menu to start your next collection.

Currently, there are two methods for creating collections using the Pinkoi app:

(A) From the “Collections” tab:

To create your first collection, select "My Wish List" at the bottom of the screen, then swipe right to view the "Collections" tab.
Tap “Create new collection” to start your first collection. Please refer to the image below for more details.
To create even more collections, use method B.

(B) When adding items to your Wish List:

When you tap the heart on the bottom right-hand corner of a product photo, a window will pop up at the bottom of the screen. Select “Create new collection” in the window to begin your next collection.

How do I add an item to my collection?

For items that you haven’t added to your Wish List yet:

After you click the white heart on a product photo or the “Add to Wish List” button on a product page, a window will pop up. Now, this product has been added to the "All Items" section of your Wish List (as shown below).
In the pop-up window, select “Create new collection” to add the product to a new collection, or select one of your existing collections from the list to categorize your item (as shown below).

For items you’ve already added to your Wish List but haven’t organized into collections yet:

When you click the red heart on a product photo or “Added to Wish List” on a product page, the item will be removed from your Wish List.
Re-select the white heart on the product photo or “Add to Wish List” on the product page, and you can once again deposit the item into your desired collection via the pop-up menu.

For items that you’ve already added to a different collection:

Click the heart on a product photo or “Added to Wish List” on a product page to view the pop-up menu and deposit the item into your desired collection.

Is it possible to add multiple items to a collection at once?

For now, you will not be able to add multiple items to a collection at once. Please stay tuned for future updates!

Can I edit or delete a collection?

You can! Edit your collections from the settings button in the upper right corner of the Collections page (Desktop: “More Settings” / App: Settings icon). On the edit page, you can choose to delete a collection or modify your collection’s title.

Note: Once a collection is deleted, it cannot be restored.

How do I adjust the privacy of my collection?

You can adjust your collection’s privacy settings from the settings button in the upper right corner of the Collections page (Desktop: “More Settings” / App: Settings icon). Making your collection public will allow it to be viewed by other users and shared with friends. It will also have the chance to appear on Pinkoi as a popular or recommended collection.

How do I share a collection?

You can share a collection from the settings button in the upper right corner of the Collections page (Desktop: “Share collection” / App: Settings icon). Click “Share collection” to share your expertly curated favorites with all of your friends.

Note: Collections must be set to public before they can be shared.
