In addition to configuring item discounts and coupons, you can also configure specific conditions for shop discounts. These conditions can be used to create discounts such as regional discounts, price threshold discounts and price threshold free shipping, allowing you to promote to specific markets.
Feature Update
2023/9
- Ongoing shop discounts are now displayed directly on your shop’s homepage for customers to browse.
- Note: Please make sure to update your app to the latest version in order to see the new version of shop discounts.
To configure shop discounts, log in to Pinkoi, go to the “Shop Manager” and then select “Promotions” → “Shop Discount Settings”. The steps below provide an example of how a shop discount can be configured.
1. Click on the “Create shop discount” button.
2. Enter a name for your discount under the “Name” field. (For example, “Buy 3 get 20% off”)
3. Configure a time period for your discount under “Period”.
4. Under “Items” select whether you want to apply the discount to all items or just specific items. (If you select specific items, please click on “Select specific items” to select the items you want to apply the discount to.)
5. Under “Region” select the regions that you want to offer the discount to.
6. Under “Conditions” select “Apply a discount when a quantity or price threshold is reached”.
7. Select “Quantity Threshold” from the drop down menu.
8. Enter your requirements. Under “Quantity Threshold”, enter the number of items that must be purchased in order for the discount to be applied. Under “Type”, select the type of discount that you want to offer. Under “Method”, select the discount method that you want to use. Under “Discount”, enter the numerical value for the discount method.
9. After customers add items to their shopping cart, the system will automatically apply the latest eligible discount setting that you have configured.
10. For example, if you have the configured the following discounts:
Buy 2 items get 5% off
Buy 3 items get 10% off
Buy 4 items get 15% off
If a customer buys 4 items from your shop, they’ll get 15% off. (Not a 15%+10%+5% discount.)
Reminder: If an order is simultaneously eligible for both a shop discount and Pinkoi discount, priority will be given to the shop discount and it will be used first with the amount of the discount being borne by the shop.

Discount Display Priority on the Shop Homepage
The system will automatically arrange and prioritize discounts for display based on your settings for “Discount Type”, “Applicability”, “Discount Amount”, “Expiry Date”, and “Creation Date”.
Discounts will be prioritized for display based on the criteria below in the following order:
A: Discount Type (Display Priority: 1 → 6)
1. Free shipping
2. Shipping fee discount
3. Order discount (percentage)
4. Order discount (monetary amount)
5. Order discount (lowered to specific amount)
6. Threshold discount
B: Applicability (Display Priority: All Listings → Specific Listings)
1. Discount is applied to all listings
2. Discount is applied to specific listings only
C: Discount Amount (Display Priority: Large Discount → Small Discount)
Discount with the larger amounts will be prioritized for display.
D: Expiry Date (Display Priority: Sooner → Later)
Discounts that are about to expire soon will be prioritized for display.
E: Creation Date (Display Priority: New → Old)
If the criteria from A to D for two discounts is identical, the discount that was more recently created will be prioritized for display.
Note
- The system will hide shop discounts automatically if the listings they apply to have been deactivated or sold out. If you don't find a discount on your shop's homepage, please make sure to check if the listings eligible for the discount have been deactivated or sold out.
