How do I add variation images for different listing variations?

Step 1: Confirm that all listing variations and options have been added, then go to step 2 to start uploading variation images.

*Note: Listing variationscan only be  added and selected after the listing category has beenchosen. If the listing category has not yet been chosen, listing variations will not be available for selection.

 

Step 2: Select one of your previously added variations to add corresponding images.

 

1. Regular listings and digital listings(made-to-order)

*Note: Since differences in the sizing of clothing and rings cannot be accurately shown in pictures, these two types of variations will not be selectable.

 

2. Workshops

*Note: Since differences in the date and time of the workshop cannot be accurately shown in pictures, you will only be able to select“Workshop Variations” when setting variation images for workshops. You can also choose not to set any variation images for your workshop.

 

 

Step 3: The names of each option will appear in a list under your selected variation. Next to each option, you can click“Upload” and choose whether you want to upload“From Files” or“From Listing Images” to add an image.

 

 

Step 4: Upload successful

 

Step 5: Preview the listing to confirm that it is correct, then click"Save”

Note: For actions such as adding and deleting images, you need to click"Save" in the lower right-hand corner to finalize your changes.

 

 

Step 6: Setup is complete! Check your variation options and corresponding images.

 

Product page: Variation options and their corresponding images are clear and easy to identify.

 

 

Shopping cart: Customers will be prompted to confirm their choice of variation again before checkout to reduce the chance of placing incorrect orders.

 

 

FAQ

 

Q: Do I need to upload an image for each variation option? For example, suppose I have set 3 variations of red, white, and blue. Do I need to upload an image for each of these color variations?

A: It is not necessary to set a variation image for each option. If you do not upload a specific image for a variation, the cover photo of the listing will appearwhen customers select that variation in the drop-down menu.

 

Q: Are there any file size or file type limitations for variation images?

A: Please use a JPG or PNG image file with a resolution of 72dpi. The width of the uploaded image must be at least 1000px, and the file size must be within 10MB. You will be unable to upload images that do not meet the above specifications.

 

Q: Are there any specific guidelines about variation images?

Q: How will listing images(also known as primary listing images) and variation images be arranged on the product page?

A: Variation images will be placed after listing videos and listing images(primary). Please refer to the diagram below for details about the order.
